Charbel Hayek
Originally born in Beirut, Lebanon, Chef Charbel fell in love with cooking at a young age, following his mother’s footsteps around the kitchen. After attending culinary school at the French School of Excellence, he traveled to Los Angeles to hone his skills working at the two-Michelin star restaurant, Mélisse, under Chef Josiah Citrin for nearly three years. He was then given the opportunity to participate in Top Chef in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he competed and won the fifth season of “Top Chef Middle East & North Africa” with his winning dish, which inspired the Spanish Ahi Tuna Crudo that can be found on Ladyhawk’s menu. Since then, Chef Charbel has remained committed to expanding his knowledge and skills in the kitchen, and he is now bringing his expertise and vision to life at Ladyhawk.
